How it began
Trigly was born from a love of Greek olive oil and a deep care for the planet. When we discovered the Frugal Bottle, a paper bottle that could serve as an alternative to glass and aluminium, our idea was born.
Trigly brings together single-origin Greek produce and lower-impact materials. As we grow, we will continue exploring better materials and more sustainable ways of bringing exceptional olive oil to you.

Better for the environment
Lighter on the planet, fully circular; our oil is sealed in a recycled and 100% recyclable bottle made from a paperboard shell with a food-grade pouch inside. It is easy to recycle, once the bottle is empty, follow these three steps to start the cycle again!
Frequently asked questions
Why Trigly and not a glass bottle?
Sustainability is one of the pillars of Trigly, and our packaging was an important part of that choice.
Glass can be recycled again and again without losing the quality of the material. But recyclability is only one part of the picture. Each cycle still involves collecting, sorting and remelting the glass at high temperatures, while glass bottles themselves are heavy to produce and transport.
In Trigly, we pivot towards the overall impact of this cycle. That's why we chose the Frugal Bottle. Made from recycled paperboard and weighing around 82g, it is about 5 times lighter than a glass bottle. According to Frugalpac's commissioned life-cycle assessment, it can have up to an 84% lower carbon footprint than a single-use glass bottle.
Does it come with a pourer?
The bottle currently does not come with a pourer. Adding more precise flow control would require an additional food-grade insert, and we are still looking for a compatible solution that fits our sustainability goals. In the meantime, we’ve found that a reusable rubber pourer with a diameter of around 3 cm works really well with the bottle.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location but mostly around 2-5 working days within the UK.
Why don't you have official sustainability or ethical labels?
We believe in putting our resources into the soil, not the stamps. Obtaining official third-party certifications incurs substantial administrative fees. Instead of passing those costs onto you, we choose to invest directly in our Greek farming partners, sustainable agricultural practices, and eco-friendly packaging. We measure our success by the uncompromising quality of our cold-pressed olive oil and the health of the land it comes from.
How much does shipping cost?
UK standard delivery starts from £2.95 with Royal Mail Tracked 48. The exact delivery cost is calculated at checkout based on your order.
