Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of trigly.co.uk and any order you place with us. By placing an order you confirm that you accept these terms. Please read them carefully and keep a copy for your records.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

2. Orders and pricing

All orders are an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil your order — for example because the product is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred — we will contact you and refund any payment in full.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you pay.

3. Shipping

We aim to dispatch orders within two working days. Delivery times quoted at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable period of the estimated delivery date, please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.

4. Returns and refunds

You may return an unopened, unused bottle within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.

Because olive oil is a perishable food product, we cannot accept returns of opened bottles unless the product is faulty, damaged in transit, or past its best-before date on arrival. This does not affect your statutory rights.

To start a return, contact us at the address below quoting your order number. We will confirm the return address and send you instructions. Please do not send anything back before we have confirmed the return.

Unless the item is faulty or we sent you the wrong product, you are responsible for the cost of return postage and for the goods until they reach us. We recommend using a tracked service.

Once we receive the returned bottle and confirm its condition, we will refund you to your original payment method within 14 days.

5. Faulty or damaged goods

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or otherwise not as described, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph of the problem. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any delivery and return postage costs, at no charge to you.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Cancellations

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, tell us in writing before the 14 days are up and return the goods unopened and unused within 14 days of telling us.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible and we will cancel it and refund you in full.

7. Product information

We describe our products as accurately as we can, but packaging, harvest and appearance may vary between batches. Nutritional and allergen information is provided on the product label; if you have a specific dietary requirement, please check the label before use.

Our bottles are made predominantly from recycled paperboard and are filled by hand. Because of the nature of the material and production process, you may notice small cosmetic creases, marks or variations between bottles.

Minor cosmetic variations do not by themselves indicate that the product is faulty where the bottle remains structurally sound, properly sealed and the safety and quality of the olive oil are unaffected.

Significant deformation, an opened paper shell, leakage or damage to the seal is different — if your bottle arrives in this condition, please contact us.

Olive oil is an agricultural product, so natural characteristics such as colour, aroma and flavour may also vary slightly between harvests.

8. Limitation of liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was formed.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

9. Privacy

We handle your personal data in line with our privacy policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Contact us
